Nea Peramos is a small town of a total of 2,500 inhabitants, 18km away from Kavala.
This beach town has a beautiful, very long sandy beach, mostly organized with umbrellas and deck chairs. Along the beach there is a promenade with taverns, cafes and beautiful parks. Everything you need during your vacation is available to you: shops, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, playground, park, medical help and pharmacies. It is ideal for a quiet and carefree vacation without too many crowds.
There is a great view of the island of Thasos and Mount Athos from Nea Peramos. In the western part of the town are the remains of the Byzantine castle and the city of Anactropolis.
Nea Peramos is an ideal location, because of its 1km distance from the beach Ammolofi, one of the most beautiful beaches in northern Greece, 3km long and about 50m wide. This beach with fine golden sand and shallow waters is ideal for families with smaller children. There is a large number of modern beach bars with deck chairs and umbrellas (they are provided free of charge with a drink), as well as large, shady free parking. There are also organized water sports and activities for children available. This beach is a true paradise for tourists because of the fine sand, crystal clear water of turquoise color.
